This is a vintage Walter Lampl heart charm. The puffy heart is inscribed “England is dear to my heart” above a crown. On the back, the charm is signed “BUNDLES FOR BRITAIN” and has the Walter Lampl maker’s mark of a W and L inside a shield. The charm has tested positive for silver. This charm is part of the jewelry line that the Walter Lampl company created during World War 2 for the Bundles for Britain charity, which raised funds and sent goods to aid the British people.
The charm is 5/8 inches long. It is in very good condition with slight wear.
